Cultural waterfall principle...Number 8 of 12..

As always, you must be the example of the change you wish to seek as the leader, and the “Waterfall downstream” effect to work well!


Sabotage by staff of the new strategy can be common, due to various reasons like jealousy, change,

frightened , scared and a lack confidence in moving forward. And or lack of belief, it can work.


So, make sure your culture is very clean, positive, with a strong sense of purpose and outcome, and they have belief in their leaders (see our book “The Genius Entrepreneur- Exceptional Leadership and Culture” edition).


So, you have the knowledge and feedback from key staff, clients/customers, and the general market.

Let’s integrate and synthesise for synergy:


Look at the feedback to assess the realism and truth of “matter of fact” vs subjective opinions. Patterns of responses and suggestions, ideas, and recommendations will be key to spot! So if there is a consistency in responses from staff or the market. Start there! (e.g. your product doesn’t last as long as inferred, the quality is not as high as I was led to believe, performance was substandard etc)


Research, Analyse and Evaluate independently across academia, successful enterprises and executives/practitioners from various industries. Make sure they have been successful running their own company or very senior positions. There is a difference between:


“To know of, to knowing”
