Growth Markets and their creation via Blue Ocean Strategies…..


Innovative Value utilizing the “BOS” mental set or mindset, is required to transcend out of Red Ocean markets.  That is a different way to think about innovation, creativity, and inventiveness.


One of the key advantages utilizing a BOS is that it may take years for competitors to catch up to your new strategic advantages (think Warren Buffet and the moat protection analogy he likes to use), remember the process of capability to capacity to competence to strategic advantage to sustainable strategic advantage.


Gaps in markets or cross-selling or up-selling need to be taken into account when considering new growth markets for your product or service. Firstly, to see if vertical or horizontal integration across the supply chain could be the right BOS before introducing a new strategic advantage of product or service.
