Sales and Marketing first, should be your focus (as mentioned in previous post) and to become such a level of Mastery of Expertise (skill, knowledge, experience) of your business so that your at a minimum of 80th+ percentile for you're industry (meaning if 100 of same or similar business's side by side, your expertise would be better than 80 of these businesses or higher)!
See Part 1 and the AI Gap experiment Blog we did:
And here is the AI version as the comparator... (we did a comparison to see the AI GAP for this topic)
Generating top line Mastery (Sales and Marketing) can and will create:
1/ Clear knowledge and foundational marketing skills for your particular markets and industry,
2/ Understanding of the process of Brand building (Power, Equity and Awareness) for either disruption, engagement, interaction and general scoping of the collective conscious knowledge of your industry and its participants, commonly called external stakeholders!
3/ Harnessing both "Soft Power" vs "Hard Power", "Soft Skills" vs "Hard skills", "Direct Influence" vs "Indirect Influence". And you must understand, be aware of when to apply each of these to your markets, if you want to reach that 80th to 90th percentile of Sales and Marketing (as not everyone responds to the same methodology and approach, due to everyone's inner psychodynamics (culture, societal, genetics) can be vastly different)),
4/ A business/organisation culture of higher emotional intelligence, cultural understanding and application with maturity and above average social culture running through or as an under current of sophistication. e.g. "Were all in this together", "This is our why!", "TEAM wins everyone wins, I win everyone can win",
Remember our post (see above) on how to apply resources and where to start?
I was with a NFP CEO (first interview, around 8 years ago, deep into 8 figures business), Harold (not his real name). And explained, each facet of this business was like holding a deck of cards, with say "Sales and Marketing" being a Jack of Hearts, "Culture and Leadership" being Queen of Spades, "Strategy" nine of diamonds, and "Operations" being a 5 of clubs.
I asked him is it better to improve his Queen of spades or get his 2's,3's and 4's to Ten's and Jacks for each facet of the company. (Intuitively everyone understands this concept),and the lightbulb moment and light in his eyes was like a bright sun!
Remember in your staff meetings you want: "More Light than Heat"! (i.e. insight vs heated debate)
After that moment, we were away....
So make sure your Marketing and Sales plan is well formulated ,they can be just 1 page long (EACH!), or extensive like we did for the above organisation (we went to many of their corporate clients and got the "Inside scoop and skinny") , and, we did a complete recommendation of retooling of their balance sheet as well with many other aspects fully integrated and synergised.

We have made improvements to our entry level programs: Gold (4 weeks), Platinum (8 weeks) and Diamond (12 weeks), based on our experience your having with your dynamic and fluctuating markets.
Also, we will be introducing a ongoing "Business Partnership Mentoring" program, within 90 days, for sustainable results, than a quick 6 to 12 month Kaizen result.
