"Sales Hyper growth is usually a multiple of industry standards or GDP (e.g. 3x of IS or 4 to 5 x of GDP). If your a new product or service business base it on year on year sales growth as a metric.
Here is the first KEY Strategy we utilize for clients for Sales (Fast) or Hyper growth:
1/ Master evaluation of Industry, Markets, Clientele and Customers (CC). And (if you can) future trends and forecasting.
Understanding your market, industry and CC through needs, wants and desires with future forecasting, will put you at least 80% ahead f your competitors. We see this so often where we ask the Leaders of the organisation simply....
"Tells us about your market, industry and CC?".....(Naturally we use open ended questions, to see where they travel within their forest and their ability to traverse within it)
And you would expect at least 30 minutes of depth, breadth and Richness of AWARENESS, Understanding and somewhat sophisticated Evaluation. However, generally this is not the case!
Make sure you Evaluate well, and can categorize your clients, utilizing a simple 4 field matrix. We have had such profound results with simple Industry, Market and CC segmentation's.
This key Sales principle will save you much in resources (e.g. time, money and human). And will show you where to invest your resources best thus ensuring hyper growth in Sales. Sales is influence and with buyer and provider each coming together for a mutual and equal gain. This is a natural law.
Evaluating high profit and low maintenance client to low profit and high maintenance client is first step to understanding your clients. A simple quadrant table with the qualities and elements for each quadrant keeps it simple, fast, efficient and effective.
