The first step is to Master (80th+ percentile within your industry) the fundaments which include:
1/ Sales and Marketing return, ie conversion rates, margins, penetration, exposure,
2/ Building Brand power to Market power strategically. (remember it goes Brand power to Market Power to Earnings Power to Social Empowment),
3/ Strategic Placement of products and services or the fundamental 7 P's of Marketing:
Placement,
Product,
Price,
Promotion,
Physical Evidence,
People,
Process.

The Marketing Mix: Neil H Borden a professor at Harvard contended there were 12 elements of the overall Marketing Strategy in his classic article “The Concept of the Marketing Mix".
They were:
1/Product planning, 2/ Pricing, 3/ Branding, 4/ Channels of distribution, 5/ Personal selling.
6/ Advertising, 7/ Promotions, 8/ Packaging, 9/ Display, 10/ Servicing,
11/ Physical handling,12/ Factfinding and analysis.
However there were no instructions, just like ingredients for a Great Cake., but how do we put this together?...
