Mastery “Ready and Going to Market”..the basics
“Ready for Market” and “Going to Market” are core expertise’s you will need to develop to a very high level for “hyper growth in sales”.
We want to evolve from good to excellent to exceptional capabilities and capacity in “Ready for Market” and “Going to Market” with your BOS (Blue Ocean Strategy-"Innovative Value"). And, Traditional methodology approach is an imperative with your Strategic Market position and Sales strategy.
Ready for Market is a simple idea based on the presumption you have collated enough data, information, knowledge to have confidence in you “Going to Market”
This is based on the axiom of:
“Data leads to information leads knowledge leads to wisdom leads higher success” for the situational context. The Ancient saying was (for the history buffs and intellectually curious “Genius Entrepreneurs”):
“Data leads to information leads to knowledge leads to wisdom leads to omniscience.”
And, as you are aware, the value is not as much the information and knowledge gathering (then application), but going through the complete process and its circular and ongoing continuum. Thus creating a deep level of expertise (knowledge, experience and skill application).
Let’s utilise a real world example we consulted and coached on. We were consulting to one our states top industries companies. We went through their data base, to find the patterns of their core clients.
And, we found the business had a clear pattern of interactions and marketing.
Their client base was massive, thousands upon thousands of clientele from old people, to large offices, and even industrial buildings. We asked them who they enjoyed working with and the High Profit and Low Maintenance Clientele – HPLM (see chapter 5).
Once we established, the companies HPLM clientele, we instigated a direct marketing campaign. Which included loyalty programs and regular sign up of services than adhoc contacting from them.
Within a week (of our marketing plan implementation) we established new appointments for services and their revenue quickly rose.
Utilising tangible and intangible data and information will allow you to make quick informed decisions for a jump in top line revenue, especially if your business is over 10 years!
“Going to Market” (how to?) should have been developed with you working through the Exercise’s for developing your Sales Plan and Marketing Plan. Its imperative your BOS is integrated with Going to Market, as your product or service maybe tier 1 or have many unique points of differentiation.
