Culture is your Firepower...Why?

"Creating a high positive emotional charge with your staff and have positive belief systems is an imperative for your organisation and leaders to “trickle and flow down” to your staff and sales people to foster and create fast SALES hyper-growth.
We were consulting to NFP (not for profit) who were the states leaders for their industry. And, I was presenting to the board (after doing 10+ weeks of analysis, interviewing their staff and clients, financials, industry best practices and so on), and it was obvious the Culture and Leadership development level on the maturation spectrum were NOT where they should be on the development curve for “Leadership and Culture”.
They were bleeding approximately $ 60,000 per month in free cash flow for turnover of $ 20 M.
We suggested that each board member mentor (to own the Leadership and Culture that was developed) key staff, the reaction from them (to give back to the organisation, beyond sitting in meetings, ie. Real World application) was one of being scared and frightened disguised as indifference and distant.
Its an imperative to own and develop your organisations emotional charge, energy and beliefs, i.e. culture, especially when you are in a position of Influence and Leadership. And NOT expect others to do it for you! Until you have mastered these qualities yourself this is a foundational Leadership principle.
