4/ The Emotional Genius
Being able to “Read” the board room, the ambiance, and the emotional charge of an environment is essential. Also, understanding the “emotional and psychological state” of your customer/client is key for rapport building.
Sales and Marketing are about emotional resonance, values alignment and shifting “States” to influence the best outcome for your market, industry, and your business.
That is, “In the best interest of all” axiom.
A good example of this is Jordan Peterson, who has an extensive workshop, lecturing, and seminar experience for mental, emotional, and psychological rapport building.
So he understands their emotional bandwidth, and brings them along for a journey, usually for insight, understanding positive self-awareness, and self-empowerment.
You will need this skill in spades for culture, leadership application, and empowerment for your organization, industry, and clients/customers. Otherwise, you will be unrelatable, and then a potential to lose staff and customers.
