So, now we understand:

1/ Blue Ocean Strategies (BOS-Part 1), its value and function and application for your enterprise,



2/ What were the foundational forces for the last 100+ years (part 2) as macro trends for business and social structures,



3/ Future Trends and Forces in play now and that are imminent (part -2, e.g AI),

4/ Our Core Mission, Vision and Culture statement is relevant, applicable and pertinent....


Lets begin to apply your Natural Creative and Inventive talent meets your Natural Potential Force (business expertise application)....Choose a approach, either:


1/ Top Down application macro to industry to local community to your business to your expertise,

2/ Bottom Up from the business expertise (what can we actually do right now?), align with current and new markets or existing clients,


The Hybrid approach:

3/ Do both together, evaluate long term forces (e.g. electrification, AI, Social forces, the "GIG" economy see Part 2...and create own list,),


Now create a quadrant matrix (for my long term subscribers./readers, its simple but efficient and quick!)...

with this list (read Part 1 to spark this level of insights again):


X Axis- "Creating In house" and "External Creation"

Y Axis- "Short Term Viability" and "Long Term Viability"..


Viability includes, profitable, capable, possible and probable...


Jot down at least 3 points of each, make sure their simple, sophisticated, easy and hard to implement .You want to stretch your creative and inventive synapses by going up and down the spectrum and left and right.


Remember what you don't use you lose, ie the connections weaken, so stop using AI and THINK!


Creative thinking meets visionary exploration right?!.....A key attribute of Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders! Step back, and have a good long look at your quadrant matrix for new markets both long-short term, external and internal (existing clients/customers needs not tapped yet!)...


Choose 1, and rate them with a P score (this is called the probability quotient, so P= .8, meaning your thinking it has 80% of outcome with all things being equal), then 2 then 3..stop there! The reason you choose a P score is to switch from right brain (creative side....where and how?) to left brain analytical, using both sides of your brain...


Do not get lost in the HAZE of big picture thinking, but KISSNS, keep it strategically simple not simplistic.

One will stand out from the rest for the next step......So how are you going to market? (See part 1 and re read)....
